10 Things For June
Carefree dresses and canvas, pretty things for the garden, two things that help me sleep better, plus more.
Dear Reader,
It’s June. Somehow we’re halfway through 2026.
I’m choosing not to think about that. I’m on my patio instead — breeze, birds, terracotta planters warming in the sun. This is what I love about summer: a return to the simplest pleasures.
Lately I’ve been thinking about how simple life is, and how determined we are to complicate it. The mind defaults to what’s next, what else, who should I become — but maybe it’s less about becoming more and more about noticing what already feels good. Right here. Right now.
Green plants and a watering can. Linen dresses and canvas totes. Summer dinners outside and baby pours of pinot noir (you know me). Small things.
My June is full: a quick trip to NYC, the Fenimore Lane Design Summit (get tickets here), both my daughters’ birthdays at the end of the month (we’re having a big princess bash).
Busy, but I am making mental notes to take in the small glorious pleasures that fill in the blanks between events.
Enjoy your June.
xx Megan
Here's what's been keeping me company this month:
MANTRA: “I honor my unique gifts.”
IG FOLLOW: @alexander_widener — his energy is positively contagious.
READ: The Four Agreements — sitting with the first agreement like nothing else.
SCENT: Trudon’s Abd El Kader Classic candle (the name threw me off too — it's mint).
10 THINGS I’M LOVING

FOR YOUR CLOSET
1. Canvas Favorites.
I did a wicker roundup recently, but canvas is equally close to my heart this time of year. On my radar: this Nili jacket, this Kallmeyer tote, this sun hat, a good RL sneaker.
2. Bermudas.
No shocker — I write about these every spring/summer, and I’m glad to see more styles on the market. Lately I’m reaching for this casual CoH pair (versatile color) and this elevated Toteme pair.
3. Carefree Dresses.
Carefree really is the best word — something where I can go braless, lounge outside, and just be with the season. I have an entire White Dress Edit I keep adding to. Some feminine favorites: the Gardener dress by Sea NY, this linen by Rixo, and this one by Posse.

FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL HEAD (AND BODY)
4. Body Cream with SPF.
Come this time of year, I’m living outside — running, walking, working, sipping coffee, all outside. I get a lot of sun, and honestly I’ve always been bad about SPF until I found Emma Lewisham’s body cream with SPF 50. It lives in my bathroom drawer with my other moisturizers. Apply in the morning or after a shower and I’m covered.
5. Goop’s New & Improved Vitamin C.
Honestly, I didn’t think their original needed improving — it’s always been my favorite Vitamin C on the market. The update version feels a bit more hydrating and less aggressive while still giving that bright, even-toned glow. (MEGAN15)
6. Hair Brush.
I’ve shared it a hundred times but I don’t care — this brush gorgeous on the countertop and works beautifully. I use No. 2.
FOR YOUR HOME
7. Sixpenny Dalia Chairs.
A big fan of all things Sixpenny — and for the price, the pieces are remarkably well-built. I just added these Dalia chairs in Quiet Sage and couldn’t love them more. They read traditional but feel modern thanks to the large pleated skirt.
8. Garden Things.
Call me a grandma, but watching little birds bathe in this French iron one has given me immense joy lately. I also got a sweet watering can (also love this by MATCH).
FOR A HEALTHY MIND/BODY
9. Fatty 15 Gummies.
I got into the Fatty 15 capsules to support my cells, inflammation, metabolism, and overall healthy aging — but I rarely took them consistently. Then they released a gummy, one for me and one for my kids, and now it’s our little daily ritual (10/10 more likely to take a supplement in gummy form).
10. My Magnesium Cocktail for Wind Down
I've been talking about magnesium for years because it's one of the few supplements where I've actually noticed an immediate difference. Lately, Ive taken Be Well By Kelly’s capsule in the evening, followed by Agent Nature’s Magnesium complex (it tastes like key lime pie). Together, they've become a bit of a power couple for helping me relax before bed—both physically and mentally.
I’m also a devoted user of Naturopathica’s bath flakes for bath time. In essence, I overdose on magnesium. And it helps.

may i ask what black bag you are wearing in the photo with the shorts? looks like the row.
